Cesis, Latvia
Beginning with a dérive mapping, the Oasis unit identified and further investigated potentials of four layers of the city:
different types of urban landscapes, formal and informal playgrounds for children and youngsters, vacant premises that could be adjusted to the needs of the elderly, and central public squares in the old town – the backbone of Cesis.
Findings of the urban analysis and proposals of the Oasis group were presented in a public exhibition.
